You’ve probably heard me mention Amy Champagne before (like here and here). She’s crafty, and a force to be reckoned with. I love her edgy sense of style, and her habit of turning convention on its head, like in this shoot at The Lace Factory in Deep River, CT. Amy conceptualized the industrial-themed shoot, gathered some of my favorite vendors (like Brooke Allison Photography), and got predictably fabulous results.
With lots of repurposed elements, metals, and pops of green, it was a design that really spoke to me.
Part of Amy’s concept was to add some unexpected design elements. Instead of floral centerpieces with hanging lights, she flipped things around and had Shindig Lighting create a centerpiece composed of Edison bulbs. In lieu of a chandelier, she conceptualized hanging florals, expertly executed by Earth Blossoms Flowers.
I love the reclaimed wood she used for the ceremony backdrop and the pallets for the seating.
