Our new Buttercream Essentials class covers all the basics: Torting, filling, crumb coating, and finishing cakes. We’ll also make Swiss meringue buttercream and cover basic piping techniques. The next one is scheduled for Sunday, January 19th at 10am.
Our Fondant Intensive, scheduled for February 23, 2014, is our most popular class. I highly recommend it for both beginners and students who have experience with fondant but want to improve their skills.
Our newest course, Introduction to Sugar Flowers, covers the basic tools and techniques needed to create realistic edible sugar flowers and leaves. I designed the course as a general flower class in the hopes that students would take the basic techniques and be able to use them to create whatever flowers they’re most interested in. The class is scheduled for March 2, 2014.
